State Route 77: Tangerine Road to Pinal County Line
The State Route 77 project from Tangerine Road to the Pinal County Line was a six-mile long roadway widening and wildlife connectivity project in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Transportation, the Regional Transportation Authority, the Town of Oro Valley, Pima County, the Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection, and Arizona Game and Fish. WDG’s scope included: the creation of visual simulations of the sound barrier walls and the wildlife underpass for public meetings; native plant inventory; architectural treatments and structure aesthetics; planting plans; erosion control plans; and construction administration.
