I-10 / I-19 Traffic Interchange

WDG designed the architectural treatments for all new structures.  Project themes were developed through interaction with ADOT staff and local residents.  Agricultural theme of the "Three Sisters" was of particular interest to the Pascua Yaqui community.  The landscape design concept reflects a gateway theme through a circular grove of trees that encircle the interchange.  Landform, inert materials, and sculptural desert plants within the circle provide “threads” of color and reflect pier and wall forms.

WDG coordinates with leaders in the formliner industry to deliver unique and professional design that enhances roadway projects.   

The artistic shapes and forms of formliner are visually attractive and contextually appropriate.
