East Side Residence

WDG developed the planting, irrigation, lighting, and hardscape plans for this mountain view residence on the east side of Tucson. New landscape design features included an extension of the existing patio and the creation of a new seating area with a fire pit. A raised vegetable garden bed and a pair of horseshoe pits were also added. The entire backyard was re-graded for visual interest, to highlight plant groupings, and to provide natural water retention. The planting design is transitional in nature, seamlessly connecting with the Sonoran Desert and the views to Mt. Lemmon, while still offering color and interest for the residents.
