The St. Mary's Road project is Phase II of the Downtown Links project. WDG provided landscape, irrigation, hardscape, and water harvesting design, in addition to extensive participation in public outreach. Several sustainability goals were achieved with this project: reuse of existing sidewalk and curbs for water harvesting features, implementation of microbasins and swales to capture stormwater, and use of Sonoran Desert plant species. This project received two American Public Works Association (APWA) awards.
